Congratulations to Lily – Winner of the D24 Governor’s Zonta Spirit Award!

We are thrilled to announce that Lily Cowen, of the Zonta Club of Nepean Valley, has been named the recipient of the D24 Governor’s Zonta Spirit Award – a well-deserved recognition of her extraordinary dedication, leadership, and embodiment of the Zonta ideals. The Zonta Spirit Award honours individuals who personify the essence of Zonta through community building, connection, and positive club culture. Lily exemplifies this spirit in every sense.

Lily’s lasting legacy includes:

 Assisting in the formation of the Zonta Clubs of Blue Mountains and Blacktown

 Initiating the club’s 30-year TAFE Award project

 Launching the club’s involvement in the Young Indigenous Woman Award

Lily’s service, warmth, and tireless advocacy make her an extraordinary role model for

Zontians everywhere. She truly lives and breathes the Zonta Spirit — and we could not be

prouder to celebrate her achievements.
