Project Five-0 was founded

in 1983 to support vocational training for women & girls in developing countries.

Until earlier in 2008,

Zonta International was

one of the 5 international women's organisations

which are the members of Project Five-0, and still cooperates with the Project

on some initiatives.

Advancing the status of women since 1919

 
 

Zonta International is an organisation of over 32,000 business and professional women in more than a thousand Clubs world wide, whose primary purpose is advancing the status of women.

This is done through service and advocacy, with activities and projects aimed at improving the health, educational, professional, legal, economic and political status of women.
