Young Women &
Zonta around the world

In Clubs:

Many Zonta Clubs make awards to women in their community to recognise their achievements, encourage their contributions to the community and support their work to advance the status of women everywhere.

Zonta International:

In addition, Clubs from District 24 can provide opportunities for women in NSW and the ACT to be considered for awards made by Zonta International through the programmes funded by the Zonta International Foundation.  These include:

  1. -the Young Women in Public Affairs Award

  2. -the Jane M Klausman Women in Business Award

Operated by Zonta International as a single world wide program, the Amelia Earhart Fellowships also provide support for women to pursue doctoral studies in aerospace related sciences and engineering fields.

Z Clubs and Golden Z Clubs help high school, college and university students develop leadership skills, promote career exploration and encourage members to participate in community, school and international service projects.

With the help of experienced Zonta sponsors, who provide resources, information and guidance, Z Club members (high school students) and Golden Z Club members (college or university students) work to improve their society and the world. Z Club and Golden Z Club members plan, organize and participate in unique activities designed to meet the needs of members, their schools and the community, while emphasizing an international outlook and strong international relations.  There are currently over 200 Z and Golden Z Clubs in 16 countries around the world.
